Should we be worried?
I kind of think that Charlie Brown one might become a bit of an icon sooner rather than later  :o
..
But I left school and grew my hair
They didn't understand
They wanted me to be respected as
A doctor or a lawyer man
But I had other plans..........

It is interesting that Laurent posted the same cartoon on June 2 and again June 4.  I enjoyed it both times.  I've seen other duplicates on this thread, but this one is 'impressive'!  :D

True enough for normal circumstances (BAU), but with the potential for the collapse of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet beginning with the next few decades, it is time (for at least the leaders) to stop playing games with ethics and uncertainties and to show some moral courage and to learn to cooperate.

Edit: Also, from a philosophical point-of-view, I believe that "Team Me" is an illusion and that fundamentally there is no I, no me, no my; anymore than AI is alive.

In reality there is very little that is funny about anthropogenic climate change; & in this regards I am trying to convey by the Matrix posts that people are trapped in a system of materialistic thinking that is difficult for many of them to see an alternative to, so they will fight to protect it.

For a humor thread matrix paradox is not really fit, I do not doubt of the pertinence, just saying people here could be interested to discuss that topic.

I will start a new thread on topic of the "Matrix" as a system that most people are trapped in and are thus they are part of the problem until they are "unplugged", in the "Spring 2016 Open Thread" folder.
