stop emojis

i discovered recently that an 8 followed by a closing brace was rendered as an emoji

thus with a space between the 8 and the )

is fine, but with no space

how to not do this or is this unpossible ?

Apparently all this characters do remove the emoji.

Thanks. That no smiley option appears after i click on the "attachments and other options,"  which of course i never notice if i am not attaching a file ...
