NOAA has published the latest N2O concentration.

March 2023:       336.58 ppb
March 2022:       335.42 ppb
March 2013:       325.7 ppb
Last updated: Jul 05, 2023

It is the highest concentration of nitrous oxide since humans live on this planet.

The annual increase of 1.16 ppb is significantly lower than last years, but still by 7% higher than the 10 y average (1.088 ppb/a).

I set an index = 100 to the average of 1980 [301.1 ppb]. March 2023 has a relative value of 111.8 compared to that index.

A little later than usual NOAA has published the latest monthly average on N2O concentration.

April 2023:       336.61 ppb
April 2022:       335.47 ppb
April 2013:       325.7 ppb
Last updated: Aug 05, 2023

It is the highest concentration of nitrous oxide since humans live on this planet.

The annual increase of 1.14 ppb is significantly lower than last years, but still by 4.5% higher than the 10 y average (1.091 ppb/a).

I set an index = 100 to the average of 1980 [301.1 ppb]. April 2023 has a relative value of 111.8 compared to that index.

May 2022:       335.48 ppb
May 2013:       326.0 ppb
Last updated: Sep 05, 2023

It is the highest concentration of nitrous oxide since humans live on this planet.

The annual increase of 1.15 ppb is significantly lower than last years, but still by 8.2% higher than the 10 y average (1.063 ppb/a).

I set an index = 100 to the average of 1980 [301.1 ppb]. May 2023 has a relative value of 111.8 compared to that index.

NOAA has belatedly published the latest N2O average.

June 2023:       336.64 ppb
June 2022:       335.50 ppb
June 2013:       325.9 ppb
Last updated: Oct 05, 2023

It is the highest concentration of nitrous oxide since humans live on this planet.

The annual increase of 1.14 ppb is significantly lower than last years, but still by 6.1% higher than the 10 y average (1.074 ppb/a).

I set an index = 100 to the average of 1980 [301.1 ppb]. June 2023 has a relative value of 111.8 compared to that index.

NOAA has published the latest N2O concentration.

July 2023:       336.66 ppb
July 2022:       335.56 ppb
July 2013:       326.0 ppb

It is - by a smidgeon - the highest concentration of nitrous oxide since humans live on this planet.

The annual increase of 1.10 ppb is significantly lower than last years, and close to the 10 y average (1.066 ppb/a).

I set an index = 100 to the average of 1980 [301.1 ppb]. July 2023 has a relative value of 111.8 compared to that index.

August 2013:       326.0 ppb
Last updated: Dec 05, 2023

It is the highest concentration of nitrous oxide since humans live on this planet.

The annual increase of 1.10 ppb is significantly lower than last years, but still by 2.3% higher than the 10 y average (1.075 ppb/a).

I set an index = 100 to the average of 1980 [301.1 ppb]. August 2023 has a relative value of 111.8 compared to that index.

It is the fifth of a new month. NOAA has a new monthly average for global N2O.

September 2023:       336.78 ppb
September 2022:       335.77 ppb
September 2013:       326.1 ppb
Last updated: Jan 05, 2024

It is the highest concentration of nitrous oxide since humans live on this planet.

The annual increase of 1.01 ppb is significantly lower than last years, and the lowest since February 2020. This means it is also below the 10 y average (1.068 ppb/a).

I set an index = 100 to the average of 1980 [301.1 ppb]. September 2023 has a relative value of 111.9 compared to that index.
