Blumenkraft
« on: May 26, 2022, 05:22:00 AM »
Jochen Spaulding (formerly here as blumenkraft) is an email friend of mine. I have just learned earlier today that he was released from the hospital after a heart attck, and is still not feeling well (I wondered why he stopped answering my emails).
If you believe in it, say a quick prayer for him.
And if you don't believe in it, say one anyway. It would hurt no-one, and just waste half a minute.

Best wishes from me, also. While all heart attacks are serious, they are no longer a barrier to a full and active life. A friend of mine had major heart surgery almost thirty years ago - he treated it as a "wake up" call, and made a lot of changes to his lifestyle. More careful food and drink choices, more exercise, as recommended by doctors.

Also, he started to make a major effort to keep in touch with friends, make new ones and develop new interests. He's a much more lively and interesting person than he was before he went into hospital. As Blum was already a lively and interesting person, I expect he'll do very well.
Step by step, moment by moment
We live through another day.

Blum has pretty much recovered. He has taken up hemp farming and is really getting into it!

Few get the remembrance blumenkraft earned with his time here.

We were in contact for a bit via DM's while he was still active here. I remember him well. He actually doesn't live far from me.

Nice to hear that he is doing better.
Before I came here I was confused about this subject. Having listened to your lecture I am still confused. But on a higher level.
