Neurological effects
« on: August 12, 2019, 02:31:12 PM »
Fires are worsening with climate change and they bring severe air pollution. Air pollution is strongly linked to decreased IQ, and also dementia.

Raised CO2 levels also affect cognition.

Separately, blue-green algae is linked to neurotoxins such as BMAA, and blue-green algae thrives in warm still-water conditions. The result is more ALS, although the effect is thankfully not significant.
