Long-term means
« on: April 25, 2017, 05:09:35 PM »
I thought it might be useful to create a graph showing long-term means as a corrective to the undue attention I sometimes pay to short-term fluctuations. You can find it here:

Any thoughts or comments?

For those who don't like links, here is misfratz's graph.

In the "debate" over climate change vs. natural variation, I wonder how much "natural variation" can be attributed to the 11-year running average?  You can certainly see what is likely "natural variation" in the running 12-month average.
