Henson Gletscher / J. P. Koch Fjord / North Greenland

Far north at 82,26 N we have J. P. Koch Fjord and in the bottom of this fjord (length aprox. 120 km) we find Henson Gletscher (width 2,5 km). On July 27 2017 (cloudy) Henson Gletscher produced a 2 km2 calf:

Henson Gletscher calves again with a larger calf than last year (July 27 2017) and collides with Ekspedition Bræ.

Thank you Espen for this impressive animation. Can you give us a rough scale of the size of the calved ice pack?
