Love Is All Around - The Troggs

OK, I think that is nearly all of the songs I either "love" or "like". There are more that are "ok" or "alright", but I won't bother with those with my increasinfly precarious internet access. I will probably think of a few more over the coming months, but I shouldn't have to post a bunch at once again.

I'm a huge fan as well, seen them live a few times. Epic soundtrack for these pandemic times, also! I've been listening to Dead Flag Blues a lot lately.  8)

Queensryche - Spreading the disease

Religion and sex are powerplays
Manipulate the people for the money they pay
Selling skin, selling God
The numbers look the same on their credit cards
Politicians say no to drugs
While we can pay for wars in South America (Old song  ::) )
Fighting fire with empty words
While the banks get fat
And the poor stay poor
And the rich get rich
And the cops get paid
To look away
As the one percent rules America

Spreading the disease
Everybody needs
But no one wants to see
The way society
Keeps spreading the disease

Does not really matter since you have no royalties Tor.

FWIW it is an earworm. Like i posted before i prefer to play a Darkthrone guitar bit in my head but i did watch the video and for some reason Mary jumped DT when washing hands so it is effective.  :)

I tried doing the lyrics to the milkshake song but it only works for the first part.

Quarantine Music

Outside Now by Zappa live in Paris.

I'll lay on my back here 'til dawn
In a semi-catatonic state
And dream of guitar notes
That would irritate
An executive kinda guy...
Well, I guess that one did the trick
If they only coulda heard it
Half-a-dozen of 'em woulda strangled
While they was suckin' on each other's dick

Yeah they don´t make em like that anymore.  8)

Not all instruments are equally well suited for the facecam.
See the difference between violins and cellos (too big but beautiful things).

And the right one in the reed section? What is that called?
Anyway pretty hard not to get hidden by that.  ;D

Yeah, a webcam is not the best cam for that use-case.

I wonder if this one was live or edited since everyone must have had a different latency?

As long as it stable it should work. It is also an arranged piece so as long as you know the pace it can´t be too hard.

If you enjoy sweet hurt of ears occasionally... Here's a video from a memorable concert I almost went to. But the ticket was a tad expensive and all folks in the car were male and gay. Also, back then Michael Jackson stuff almost made me throw up (plus, Cyndi Lauper etc. etc.). Michael Jackson and my childhood piano teacher are to fault that I never got into music.  8)
Starts 0:26. My hero here is not Miles Davis (except for one of his classical "wrong" notes) but Kenny Garrett. Except for his and half of John Coltrane's play I hate shrieking saxophones. :)

Same tour and record, Stuttgart. Some utterly serious drumming. (Have I remarked that Phil Collins was an emetic for me back then? Yet all the girls loved that jerk of pathos...) -- The perhaps perfect tune for my natural trumpet.
