So, I finally got me John Coltrane's Giant Steps CD for my natural trumpet practise - After I decided to try a 7th voice to JS Bach's Ricercar a 6 on Dr. Frankenstein Jr's trumpet it was obvious I also have to give an ear to the Thema Regium of Jazz... (I might modify my CD player (Technics, late 1980ies, 18bit linear interpolation, upper ball of mechanics amputated ca. 1999) to fine tune the quartz, as my self-made copper trumpet (ca. 1986) can not be tuned. The Ricercar I got on an undulated Soviet LP (bought on the last day in East Berlin) which I can play on my 1980ies fine-tuneable turntable...
