EOSDIS NASA Worldview Pics
« on: April 20, 2013, 10:03:37 PM »
Some interesting pics:
First, 10 days-difference of this year (April 10th vs April 20th) of Norway, Sweden, Finland (albedo)
Second, Baffin Bay this year on April 11th (not newest but best visibility) vs. May 8th last year.

What do you think?

PS:
I know that these pics are just "for fun" with no scientific relevance, although I'm looking forward to May 8th, when records began last year, so one can compare last year with this year's melt in progress with this neat NASA-tool.

Just wanted to remind you, that yesterday was the first day for day-to-day comparison 2012 vs. 2013, since the NASA worldview started last year on May 8th!

I know it's not the best tool, but it's pretty easy to use and to discover recent changes!
