Intermittent - fail to post: "unable to handle request"

Hi
   Intermittently I get an error when attempting to make a post. Error is:

"This page isn’t working
forum.arctic-sea-ice.net is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500"

It doesn't seem to matter whether or not a file attachment is included in the post.  Same result on both Firefox and Chrome browsers. Most recent case has been on Consequences section. Out of 5 attempts to post, only one worked.
Hopefully this post works! Anybody else seeing this?

Nope. Works fine for me.

Had this occasionally but not recently.
It is some trouble with the website which is usually fixed quite quickly

It might happen when the forum is under high load. At times we have really yuge numbers of connections...

Just an FYI:  Occasionally over the past month or so, when I click Post (particularly when there are attachments), the load may finish with a blank screen (in Safari) with the message, “Cannot parse response.”  Sometimes my post has been posted, sometimes not.  Fortunately, I can use my browser back button, copy the text of the post, and try again using a new Reply, when needed.

In emoji news:  recently I’ve been able to post emoji that I could not post before!  Woot!  🤩🚀 💪

I just experienced this issue. The consequence seem to be that the topic I was attempting to post to is broken.

Currently the following doesn't appear on my screen:

It does appear if I "print" the thread though. Is there a DungeonMaster in the house?

Jim, it did occur to me that thats my fault- i edited the posts multiple times, might be a spam protection thing

Try removing the last post in that thread from your show posts list (copy it first)

I don't have a "remove" option on my most recent posts, but it's still there on an earlier one on a different thread.

Things started working again on that thread, until I tried uploading an evidently troubling image again. With the following result.

However this time no post seems to have made it through to break things.
