I just now heard a story on public radio about student activists at 300 colleges calling on their college endowment funds to divest their stock portfolios of companies that produce or generate power with coal.  This is one of the most hopeful stories I've heard lately.

This movement is heartening.  The people who are going to live most of their lives in the climate we've damaged may have found a way to dampen down the potential damage.

If coal stocks fall out of favor money is more likely to flow to clean energy investments.
