I wasn't expecting the level of reality denial such as pretending that Biden is anywhere near as corrupt as Trump or that violently trying to overthrow election results in order to keep Trump as president wasn't an insurrection.

I'm incredibly disappointed.

More terrorist attacks - drones supplied by and guided by the UK/US military - for the terrorist Regime in Kiev - fully supported by the US President Joe Biden and his cabal of Neocons and the US Military.

Both these criminal regimes are guilty of war crimes, genocide, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity yet they are totally supported by this immoral gang of shrill brainwashed hypocrites on the ASIF.

Of course you cannot expect anything better from such an unethical misguided bunch of social misfits. ;D

Kiev attempts 'terror attack' on Russian civilian ships – MOD
The raid occurred as the vessels were heading for the Bosporus Strait, the Defense Ministry has said

Ukrainian maritime drones tried to attack Russian civilian vessels in the Black Sea, but were destroyed by Russia's navy escort ships, the Defense Ministry announced on Tuesday.

In a statement, the ministry said that “overnight, the Kiev regime tried to stage a terror attack on Russian civilian transport ships heading for the Bosporus Strait in the southwestern part of the Black Sea, which used three semi-submersible unmanned boats.”

Money and family: One corrupt body exposes another

"Chinese nationals and companies with
significant ties to Chinese intelligence and the Chinese Communist Party hid the source of
the funds by layering domestic limited liability companies"

"In 2017 alone, bank records show President Biden’s family and their related companies
received millions of dollars from Chinese foreign nationals’ companies."

"Biden family members and their companies received
over $2 million in payments through this account."

"Robinson Walker, LLC, was a vehicle used to receive foreign funds and send a percentage of the money to Biden family members. For example, the First Bank Records Memorandum explained how Robinson Walker, LLC received $3 million from State Energy HK Limited (State Energy HK), a Chinese company, in March 2017. Over the course of approximately three months, Robinson Walker, LLC transferred approximately one third of that $3 million payment to Biden family members."

"additional recipients of foreign payments, that included James Biden, Hallie Biden, and other Bidens"

"Ms. Biden received the money about three weeks after the Chinese firm had wired funds
to Mr. Walker."

"many of the payments were made while Joe Biden was Vice President and working directly on the United States’ official policy in Romania"

"The money was transmitted to Hallie Biden through wire transfers directly from Robinson Walker, LLC, which received money wired directly from a Chinese company, State Energy HK."

"“voiced satisfaction over Romania’s progress with the fight against corruption.”"

"Within five weeks of this meeting, Bladon Enterprises Limited (Bladon Enterprises) began making deposits into Robinson Walker, LLC’s bank account ... Biden family accounts received approximately $1.038 million from the Robinson Walker, LLC account after Bladon Enterprises deposits. Sixteen of the seventeen payments from Bladon Enterprises to Robinson Walker, LLC were made while Joe Biden was Vice President."

"The recipients of the money after the Bladon Enterprises deposits included EEIG (James Gilliar), Hunter Biden, Hallie Biden, Owasco P.C., RSTP24 II, LLC, and an unknown Biden bank account. The Committee continues to investigate why Hallie Biden, a reported school counselor,25 would receive any payments"

"Hunter Biden knew his financial relationship with CEFC was problematic and attempted to distance himself from the Chinese associates and CEFC: “I am not in a [joint venture] with CEFC. I am not partners with CEFC. I am not employed nor funded by CEFC.” This statement was false. As discussed further below, the Committee has obtained a $100,000 wire directly from one of CEFC’s subsidiaries to Hunter Biden’s professional corporation in August 2017. "

"a $3 million payment from State Energy HK to Robinson Walker, LLC, which was then disbursed to different Biden related bank accounts. "

"less than two months after Vice President Joe Biden left public office— State Energy HK also wired $3 million to Robinson Walker, LLC. ... After Robinson Walker, LLC wired EEIG over $1 million, Biden family members and their companies received 16 separate payments over a period of approximately three months to at least five different bank accounts, totaling approximately $1.065 million. The recipients of the money included Hallie Biden, companies associated with Hunter Biden, including Owasco P.C., James Biden, and an unknown bank account identified as “Biden.”"

5 to 10 million from Burisma: a guy could have a serious crack party with that kinda money

What worries me about these guys is how cheaply they were bought. a few million in the USA gets wiped out by a serious hospital bill, (unless you are a politician with the gold plate health care ...)

If someone possessed true wisdom and embodied the qualities of a presidential statesman, they would have had the foresight to recognize the potential harm caused by the events of January 6th, 2021, and understood what was best for the country at that time. A wise leader might have chosen to pardon all individuals with even slight involvement in the Capitol riots, including Donald J. Trump, in order to promote healing and unity.

Such a statesman would have genuinely honored the life and dedication of Ashli Babbitt, who tragically lost her life in the pursuit of what she deeply believed in, however misguided in the moment, seeing her sacrifice as an expression of devotion to the nation.

Moreover, this leader would have reached out to the people, demonstrating how to bridge the growing political divide and heal the nation's wounds caused by the deepening polarization. They would have explained the harm being done to the country they all loved and emphasized that they equally belonged to it.

A true presidential statesman would have aimed to accomplish these healing and unifying actions from the very beginning, striving to bring the nation together. However, it is unfortunate that such a vision was not demonstrated by the leader in question.

My god, Biden's children have jobs!

This is totally the same as Trump giving his children high level government jobs that they were not qualified for where they were directly working with policy.

Reading the Mess the Democrats Have Made

By Patrick Lawrence / Original to ScheerPost

At writing, we are 16 months and five days from the 2024 presidential election. If a week is a long time in politics, there is too strong a chance that the interim upon us will prove one of awful eventfulness. In my read, the risk of brazen lawlessness in the upper reaches of power and, in consequence, a constitutional crisis, is now greater than at any point in the postwar period. It is time to brace ourselves against this eventuality.

Is there any other plausible conclusion as things now stand? I do not see one. Two reasons:

One, the Democrats have emerged since Hillary Clinton’s defeat in 2016 as a party of liberal authoritarians intent on imposing their political hegemony on our republic by whatever means this project requires. Nothing is out of bounds, as these people have already demonstrated.

Two, in what looks like one of the great political miscalculations in my lifetime, the Democrats are determined to stand a candidate in 2024 whose senility has been publicly on display for the past two years and change.

This is a combustible pair of realities. The second of these, President Biden’s failing mental condition, makes the first of these, the culture of authoritarian righteousness in the Democratic mainstream, very perilous.

The party hierarchy has already declared Biden will not face any challenger in a primary debate—an openly antidemocratic regression without precedent since televised debates became essential to the political process during the Kennedy–Nixon contest in 1960. What else will come in this line, we have to ask. In my judgment, the Democrats’ willingness to let Biden run again is all too suggestive of what dangers and disorders may come between now and Tuesday, November 5, 2024. They appear determined, one way or another, to keep this man in the White House. This is not a thought with which one rests easily.

Things have gone very poorly for Joe Biden since he moved into the White House two and a half years ago. Yes, he continues to hide behind that carnival barker’s smile he plastered on as political equipment 50–odd years ago. But if the president and all the president’s men and women are not in the way of desperate at this point, they are in the way of insentient. In his Substack newsletter a few weeks ago, Seymour Hersh quoted one of his inside sources saying the administration is a behind-closed-doors madhouse. I see no reason to doubt this. [..]

Biden, who carried the Ukraine portfolio during his years as Barack Obama’s vice-president, went to work provoking a war between Ukraine and Russia—a proxy war, of course—as soon as he took office. Better put, he escalated his previous efforts in this line once he won the White House. Here is John Mearsheimer, the prominent foreign relations scholar, on this point during an interview The Grayzone published Sunday:

Quote
I think it was stupidity. I think you can’t underestimate just how foolish the West is when it comes to the whole question of Ukraine—and all sorts of other issues as well. But I think that the West believed—and here we’re talking mainly about the United States—that if a war did break out between Ukraine and Russia, that the West plus Ukraine would prevail, that the Russians would be defeated. I believe we thought that was the case.

There is the censorship case, in which the Biden regime is charged with First Amendment violations for colluding with Silicon Valley to suppress dissenting opinion. As widely reported, a federal judge issued a preliminary injunction against the Biden regime and numerous of its operatives several weeks ago. In doing so he suggested clearly that the final judgment, now pending, is likely to go to the plaintiffs, the attorneys general of Missouri and Louisiana as well as five private citizens.

The Hunter Biden affair, growing like a grotesque weed as we speak, could now prove to be Biden’s greatest vulnerability—and so the Democratic Party’s. [... ]

There are, finally, the Biden Justice Department under Merrick Garland and the FBI under Christopher Wray. The latter, continuing the practice during the Russiagate years, has, open and shut, turned the agency into a politicized instrument at the Democratic Party’s disposal, most recently by withholding for several years documents exposing Joe Biden’s direct involvement in Hunter’s influence-peddling schemes. Anyone who does not recognize the political motives of Garland’s campaign to get Donald Trump jailed and, on the other side, his direction of the Hunter Biden plea deal, is reading too many Gail Collins columns. [...]

I warned when all this started in 2016–2017 that liberal authoritarianism was vastly more dangerous than Trump’s arrival on the political scene. And here we are. I am reminded of my Tokyo years, when we used to say the governing Liberal Democratic Party was neither liberal nor democratic nor a party.

As the Democratic Party has reconstituted itself in response to the Clinton defeat seven years ago, it is neither democratic nor, given how it operates, properly a party. It is a diabolic machine built to seize and hold power without reference to law or institutional integrity.

more see all of it ....

It should be noted at the same time, the attorney general refuses to appoint an outside special counsel to investigate his boss, Joe Biden, or his son Hunter Biden, despite the fact that the DOJ regulation was instituted for these exact circumstances.

Of course, this underscores the purpose and motive of what is taking place before us today regarding Trump and the plea deal being struck with Hunter Biden to date. The public interest and vocal political conflicts arising from these two matters are surely obvious for all.

A past review of procedures highlighted the following key points about "conflict of interest" and the "public interest" when the appointment of special counsel by the Attorney General may be appropriate

Quote
The regulations set forth (28 C.F.R. 600.1) a three-part analysis for determining whether to appoint a special counsel.

First, the Attorney General must determine that “criminal investigation of a person or matter is warranted.”

Then, he or she must determine whether investigation or prosecution of the “person or matter” by a U.S. Attorney’s Office or a Justice Department litigating division would present either “a conflict of interest for the Department” or “other extraordinary circumstances.”

Finally, a further question is to be asked, namely, whether “it would be in the public interest to appoint an outside Special Counsel to assume responsibility for the matter.

It also expressed the view that history is a teacher here as elsewhere, noting that “Benchmarks for appointment of special counsel in cases of political conflicts of interest have emerged through experience.

The need to appoint special counsel will be greatest when serious allegations are made concerning the President or Attorney General, although allegations against others personally or politically close to either may also merit an appointment in unusual circumstances.”

Ref:
https://www.brookings.edu/articles/attorney-generals-special-counsel-regulations/

Did anyone notice what I did there? I do it quite often, on every topic.

There have been some stories reports recently that Biden/Obama never demanded the Ukraine Prosecutor be fired - that it was an independent decision by the Poroshenko administration.

Well here is Joe 'The Big Guy' Biden in his own words Jan 23rd 2018

From @4 Mins including live footage of Joe Biden

Jimmy:
Why did the Burisma want to bribe the Bidens?
Because they were being investigated by an
investigator in the Prosecutors Office of
Ukraine and Joe Biden got that guy fired.
The guy who was investigating Burisma, the
company that gave Devon Archer and Hunter
their jobs on the Board.

They gave Hunter $1 million payment up front
(I'm pretty sure) and then $83,000 a month
for doing nothing.
Joe Biden was in charge of Ukraine policy for
the Obama Administration and this is the
"regulatory action" that Hunter got done.
Watch this:

....... and I had gotten a commitment from
Poroshenko and from Yatsenyuk that they would
take action against the state prosecutor and they
didn't.

..... so they said they had they were walking
out to Press conference said NO. I said I'm not
gonna or we're not going to give you the billion
dollars. They said you have no Authority you're
not the president, the president said ...
I said call him! I said I'm telling you you're not
getting a billion dollars I said you're not getting
a billion I'm going to be leaving here and I
think it was what six hours I looked I said I'm
leaving in six hours if the prosecutor's not fired
you're not getting the money (oh son of a bitch)
he got fired and they put him .... [end]

Jimmy then switches to a live interview with Devon Archer by Tucker Carlson @7:20 talking about how often Joe Biden would call in with clients present on speaker phone ... 20+ times at least.
And catch up with Tucker and Devon @9 mins
"very much a product of Washington of
course he must have known that he was
calling in to effectively a business
meeting that his son was having, I mean
he must have understood that that was
kind of what his son was selling .... "

(laughter)
I've got a lot of kids I'm very close
to them talk to them every day yeah
never called them on speaker during a
business meeting that's weird hmm. You've
got a lot of kids you're close to them
do you call them on speaker during
business meetings
(laughter)

Now Jimmy's presentation isn't definitive of course, and one may well question if Biden's demand to have the Prosecutor fired was not related to Burisma or his son ..... this is exactly what the House committee is investigating now. Joe Biden simply denies it - in strange ways though like "but no money shows up in my tax returns" - if it happened there was bribery going on and influence peddling for $$$ of course it wouldn't show up in his tax returns ... what an odd response. :)

Tucker i'view is really good @13:10 mins they go back to a 2011 meeting and note from VP Joe Biden to Devon then in his 30s
first of all it's a lovely letter and it
was it's quite enthusiastic (it's a
little weird though right?) yeah well it
was it listen it was It was kind of the
beginning of our partnership and he was
thanking me and thanking Hunter I think
at the end of the day for bringing this
idea of this government regulatory
strategic advisory business into the
private Equity world

--- ---

Now here is Tucker Carlson i'view via twitter talking with another of Hunter Biden's ex-business partners Tony Bobulinski (before the election after the Laptop news broke) back in October 2020 : "I remember looking at Jim Biden and saying how are you guys getting away with this? Aren't you concerned? He looked at me, and he laughed a little bit, and said 'PLAUSIBLE DENIABILITY.'" (about a 2016 meeting I believe)
Watch the whole video 8 mins
https://twitter.com/TuckerCarlson/status/1321263064319217665

Jim Biden is Joe's brother, who along with Anthony Bobulinski Hunter Biden Rob Walker James Gilliar owned 20% each of Oneida Holdings LLC (Oneida) the 'Chinese' related company.

@4 to 5 mins note Jim share of Oneida is 10% and Joe (the big guy) share is 10%, but in official corp. docs Jim Biden's share becomes 20% the same as the others.

See email details of Company discussed in Tucker i'view
Oneida Holdings LLC will own a 50 % membership interest in a newly - formed JV named SinoHawk Holdings LLC , a Delaware LLC , which will engage in consulting services regarding various investment opportunities for CEFC China Energy Company Limited , a Chinese company . The other 50 % of SinoHawk Holdings LLC will be owned by Hudson West IV LLC , a Delaware LLC we are told is indirectly owned by Ye Jianming , the Chairman of the Board of CEFC China Energy Company Limited .. We also understand that Chairman Ye owns a majority of the equity of CEFC .
https://int.nyt.com/data/documenttools/2017-05-17-11/7434848b1aaa25d4/full.pdf

In company documents James (Jim) Biden remains listed as a personal advisor to his brother.

The report alleges 459 violations by the president's son, including 140 commercial violations, 191 sexual misconduct cases, and 128 drug violations.

For instance, Hunter Biden apparently covered his father's bills for appliance repairs and purchases, and even bought him a second iPhone, unbeknownst to US intelligence agencies.

There was one incident where Hunter Biden made a mistake and transferred $10,000 from Joe Biden's account to a Russian pimp through Wells Fargo. The Secret Service agent assigned to Joe Biden was informed about this issue. Additionally, Hunter reportedly spent $1 million on prostitutes in that year.

Moreover, Hunter Biden engaged in over 20 cocaine transactions, leading to the arrest of his dealers multiple times under the laws enforced by Joe Biden.

Instead, he was re-enacting 1984:

Are you going to start questioning whether or not ACC is real now? You're getting your information and memes from literally the same organizations that spread denialism.
Can you prove that with evidence?

If not you'd be wise to withdraw it as it's slanderous and really dumb as well. Unless you're Psychic. ;D

I'm not going to because it's become clear that you don't care about anything but pushing a narrative. This will be my last response to your obvious dishonesty.

So I did what Ajpope85 likely did, a simple google image search on this photo of a Biden speech with "a blood-red Nazi background", as Tucker Carlson put it. Results:

This coincidence of escalating antagonism with imitation fits the definition of “mimetic rivalry” offered by the philosopher René Girard, who noted that often enough, the more intense a conflict becomes, the more closely the enemies come to resemble each other. Nevertheless, there is also an asymmetry between these antagonists: Only one has federal law-enforcement agencies, government bureaucracies, and the bulk of the corporate media arrayed on its side. All of this makes it unlikely the Biden camp will be forced to face up to its contradictions anytime soon.

In truth, if the world stopped consuming oil today it would result in the deaths of billions—deaths that don’t appear at all in the IPCC prognostications for climate change’s impact—and would hinder any attempt to build what we need to reduce carbon emissions in the long term. At present, the world is feeling the effects of waning investment in fossil fuels as it wades deeper into an energy crisis. Regardless, activists demand sacrifice for a horizonless tomorrow—especially sacrifices from everyday people trying to go about their lives: that they turn down their thermostats, cease commuting to the jobs that pay their bills on weekdays, and forgo the enjoyment of art on weekends. I also looked for the image on Google, and then simply picked the first one that to me most clearly showed how divisive the whole thing was. I'm not sure what the website was, I believe New York Post.

Either way, all those denialist/deplorable/anti-vaxxer/vatnik websites didn't force Biden to do that. Biden and his people decide to divide instead of unite, by creating an enemy image that gives you and Ajpope85 so much pleasure. They decided to re-enact that scene from Brazil, in word and in background.

◾️The silence is broken by Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was removed from office by US President Biden.

◾️He answers the accusations, sheds light on the Burisma investigation and speaks candidly about his dismissal.

Shokin about Biden: "I wish him luck, because he will need it"
( If I can find a decent transcript I will post it ...)

--------

“He was a threat. He ended up seizing assets of [Burisma owner] Nikolai [Zlochevsky] — a house, some cars, a couple properties. And Nikolai actually never went back to Ukraine after Shokin seized all of his assets,” Archer told former Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

Shokin’s office won a court order to seize Zlochevsky’s property on Feb. 2, 2016, the Kyiv Post reported at the time. Shokin was fired on March 29, purportedly due to his own corruption.

Archer’s remarks are significant because they contradict the position of House Democrats that Shokin was not considered a threat to Burisma — a point likely to be hotly contested if Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) launches an impeachment inquiry, as he said last week was becoming likely. [...]

Biden later boasted that during the same visit, he had pressured officials to seek Shokin’s removal.

“I looked at them and said, ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,’” said Biden, referring to a $1 billion loan guarantee, at an event hosted by the Council on Foreign Relations in 2018. “Well, son of a bitch. He got fired.”

Biden is known for factual embellishments during public remarks and his boast doesn’t neatly fit the timeline of his known visits to Ukraine. He did not visit in 2016, the year Shokin was fired, though he reportedly spoke on the phone four times in February and March 2016 with then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and once with Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk as he pushed for the prosecutor’s removal.

Again I ask (rhetorically) Who cares?

Patrick Lawrence: No, The Truth About Biden Is Not Democratic
extracts

Now recall the following Sunday, July 24, when Robbie Mook, Clinton’s campaign manager, appeared back-to-back on the Sunday morning news programs to proclaim that never-named “experts” had never-shown “evidence” that it was the Rrrrrrussians who pilfered the mail and gave it to Julian Assange’s operation.

What is more, Mook claimed that the experts, in a matter of 48 hours, were able to detect intent: The Russians had acted in behalf of Donald Trump’s campaign. Nothing was said, and very little subsequently, of the embarrassing contents of the mail Democrats accused Russians of stealing.

It was the singer, not the song. So were Americans guided to think about what turned out to be an internal leak, not a hack by the Russians or anyone else.

Myself, I was apoplectic, [ ME TOO - THE LIES WERE OBVIOUS THEN ] and shortly thereafter made this clear in print, as I watched the puerile Mook unroll this rubbish to the nodding assent of various television hacks. Never mind what was in the mail: How the mail got where it got was the determinant. Atop this was the implicit assertion, yet more insidious, that the truth has some kind of brand. If the Russians have anything to do with it, whatever was true could not be true. The obverse also held, supposedly: If the Democrats say something is so, it is so.

When we finish with our recollections we ought to devote another moment to the psychological implications of Mook’s propaganda pirouette that fateful weekend, when the Democrats pulled the lever to dump five years of Russiagate garbage upon us.

I see in those few days the seeds of a thought-control operation that, as we have it all these years later, is undermining our republic as surely as the more visible varieties of corruption, notably but not only the politicized abuse of the Justice Department and its law-enforcement appendages. The one goes with the other: The perversion of public institutions in broad daylight requires that our thoughts are managed such that we cannot see or understand these perversions as they occur.

It was seven years ago last week that the damaging leak of the Democrats’ email set Russiagate in motion.

My mind went back to those first Russiagate days last Thursday, when the tabloid that reported the Hunter Biden computer story just before the 2020 election dropped another in a series of big ones on us. “Biden $10M bribe file released: Burisma chief said he was ‘coerced’ to pay Joe, ‘stupid’ Hunter in bombshell allegations” was the headline on this latest New York Post piece. Whatever you were doing before picking up the paper, you had to stop long enough to read this one. I did.

You will recall the recent kerfuffle on Capitol Hill, when FBI Director Christopher Wray refused to give the House Oversight Committee an agency file containing allegations that President Biden and Hunter were indeed on the take from Burisma, the Ukrainian gas company, during Joe’s time as Barack Obama’s veep and bearer of the Ukraine portfolio. Wray capitulated when threatened with contempt of Congress, and it was this file Chuck Grassley, the Republican senator from Iowa, made public Thursday. Just when you think la famille Biden couldn’t get any filthier, la famille Biden turns out to be filthier.

see the FD–1023 file here
https://www.grassley.senate.gov/news/news-releases/grassley-obtains-and-releases-fbi-record-alleging-vp-biden-foreign-bribery-scheme

Nah, it's a beat up :)

I mean if this doesn't make you laugh then you'll be crying in dismay. Not that I expect or assume anyone here is reading my posts or let alone the material they contain.

another extract from Patrick's article .....

Quote
All this is as bread for the sandwich. In the 29th paragraph of this story The Times reports on FD–1023–the New York Post having forced its hand. Referring to Grassley, Luke Broadwater writes, “On Thursday, he released a document obtained from a whistleblower containing unverified allegations that both Hunter and President Biden had accepted bribes. The F.B.I. accused Mr. Grassley of risking “the safety of a confidential source” by releasing the document.”

That is it, readers. You will read no more of what is in FD–1023 unless and until The Times is forced—by new revelations, the findings of a House investigation, or another New York Post story—to indulge in another round of obfuscation.

There are occasions when The Times delights, even when it is at its worst. These occur when the facts do not fit the thesis, and its reporters are left swinging in the wind as they report sheer nonsense. So it is with this piece, as Broadwater tells his readers Empower Oversight is a cabal of Republicans ideologically driven to sabotage innocent Democrats, and then:
Quote

Empower Oversight rejects the suggestion its work is partisan in nature. While its leaders are Republicans, they say their job is to offer legal advice and support to whistle-blowers who approach them.

Tristan Leavitt, the group’s president and a former aide to Mr. Grassley and other Hill Republicans, said his organization’s “nonpartisan work stands for itself.”

Mr. Leavitt has worked… under a Democratic staff member, given presentations to left-leaning groups, and earned praise from other whistle-blower rights advocates. Empower Oversight is also a member of the Make It Safe Coalition, a group of organizations representing whistle-blowers across the political spectrum.

One of the I.R.S. whistle-blowers the group represents said he is a Democrat.

After this extraordinary passage, our Luke returns without pause to the theme that Empower Oversight is a cabal of Republicans driven by ideology to sabotage innocent Democrats.

Luke, Luke, tell us what it is. You cannot report the case being “A,” then the case being “not–A,” and then return to reporting “A.” It causes us to wonder about the qualifications of your assignment editor—apart from your own, of course.

Miranda Devine, a divinely dogged New York post columnist, published a commentary after the paper’s piece on the revelations in FD–1023 headlined, “The Joe Biden bribe allegations need a special counsel, now.” I’ll say.

“The story of the Biden family’s corrupt influence-peddling scheme, which netted tens of millions of dollars from Ukraine, China, Russia and beyond, is scandal enough,” Devine writes. “But the coverup—from Big Tech’s censorship of the Post’s reporting from Hunter’s abandoned laptop, and CIA lies that it was Russian disinformation, to the burying of this FD–1023is bigger than Watergate.”

Indeed, Miranda. Now tell me, does this seem to you a truth like any other—with no brand, no ideology attaching to it, being neither Republican nor Democratic?

https://scheerpost.com/2023/07/27/patrick-lawrence-no-the-truth-about-biden-is-not-democratic/

Do not - I emphasize DO NOT bag the Democrats because they are going to save us all from climate chaos and ecosystem destruction and our own demise as 'civilized' (sic) species!

This is Viktor Shokin. He is the Ukrainian prosecutor that Biden accused of being corrupt and had removed.

In this video he responds to accusations that his investigation into Burisma was dormant or that he was corrupt. He tells the truth about why he was removed as prosecutor.

He accuses the Obama Admin of using Ukraine. He says exactly what he thinks of Joe Biden. It's brutal.

The State Department has refused to let him come to America to tell his story.

New Facebook Files Expose Biden Censorship-For-Spying Scheme
Internal emails reveal that fear among Facebook executives over losing White House support in EU privacy case was behind greater censorship

The Biden White House did not violate the First Amendment when it requested that Facebook censor information on Covid’s origin and vaccine side effects, say many policymakers, journalists, and legal experts. Rather, White House officials were simply expressing their free speech rights, and Facebook executives were free to ignore White House requests.

But newly released internal emails show that Facebook executives felt pressure to comply with White House demands in order to resolve a European Union ban on the social media company’s ability to transfer the data of European users to its servers in the United States.

In July 2021, after a White House official demanded that Facebook censor more information, Facebook’s Vice President of Global Affairs and Communications, Nick Clegg, asked his colleagues to comply. The reason? Because of “the bigger fish we have to fry with the Administration — data flows etc…”

By “data flows,” Clegg was referring to the EU’s demand that Facebook stop transferring European user data — which Facebook advertisers value for targeting customers — to the United States.

The dispute was no small matter. In May of this year, EU regulators fined Meta, Facebook’s parent company, a record $1.3 billion for breaking the EU’s privacy regulations. The regulator said that Meta had violated a 2020 ruling by the EU’s highest court.

Two months later, on July 10, 2023, the Biden Administration and European Union announced a deal, the “EU-US Data Privacy Framework.”

This is a great summary of this thread:

House Oversight Chair James Comer: “Well the crime is that — trading policy for money.”

Doocy: “Which policy?”

I do not know how reliable these comments are. The Resident TG channel says they have an Office of Pres. source

Aug 2
The fight against corruption in Ukraine looks ridiculous, but at the same time, we have created dozens of services that should stop this process.

Ex-Minister Zlochevsky escaped with a fine in a corruption case. VAKS approved a plea agreement by the former Minister of Ecology - he was sentenced to a fine of 68,000 hryvnias for abuse of influence.

True, for cover, they organized a deal under which Zlochevsky paid 680 million hryvnias to the funds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was one of the conditions with the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.

By the way, it was in the gas company (Burisma) of Zlochevsky that Hunter Biden, the son of the President of the United States, was employed at one time.

At this pace, corruption in Ukraine is only being scaled up, instead of confiscation of all property, a small fine and a kickback to the Office of the President.
https://t-me.translate.goog/rezident_ua/19045?_x_tr_sl=ru&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-US&_x_tr_pto=wapp

Aug 7
Our source in the OP said that the scandalous court decision on Zlochevsky was made under pressure from the Biden Administration, from the Office of the President they demanded to close all criminal cases against the owner of Burisma.
https://t-me.translate.goog/rezident_ua/19148?_x_tr_sl=ru&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-US&_x_tr_pto=wapp

That's as President not Vice President as in 2016.

Today Aug 8th
The verdict against the ex-Minister of Ecology and the owner of the Odessa “Infoksvodokanal” Nikolai Zlochevsky was closed for viewing.

Recall that the minister from the time of Yanukovych was able to avoid a real prison term by agreeing with the investigation in the case of a bribe of $6 million ( or 680 million hryvnias ?).

The official reason for the concealment of information is that the hearings were held behind closed doors. The court session, where the settlement agreement between Zlochevsky and the investigation was approved, was indeed behind closed doors, but only PARTIALLY. The law clearly states that in this case the decision is made public with the exclusion of only the information on which the court made the decision on the closed regime.

There was no such decision of the court throughout the consideration, the introductory and operative part of the decision was proclaimed in open session. (?)

In addition, when approving the agreement, the court must indicate why, in its opinion, the terms of the agreement are in the public interest . And why the fine agreed between the prosecutor and Zlochevsky with the payment of 660 million UAH. on the Armed Forces of Ukraine was enough to approve the agreement. There is no reason to close this part of the decision either. However, no one can see the motives of the court. (?)

ok then, so they have appointed (finally) a special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden .... the very same doj prosecutor who could not get the shifty plea deal through the courts, forcing Hunter B to reneg and plead not guilty to the current charges.

Now they say there is much more investigations needed to be done. Mmmmm well I never :)

Similar to the Trump debacles thus far, justice needs to be done but it also must be seen to be done as well. One more failure of the current US judicial system.

McCarthy the House investigations will continue, though these are as bad and as useless as the democrats doing investigations. A pox on both their houses.

ok then, so they have appointed (finally) a special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden ....

28 CFR § 600.3 - Qualifications of the Special Counsel states
The Special Counsel shall be selected from outside the United States Government.

David C. Weiss is a currently-active US Attorney. Thus his appointment is illegal on its face, and an possibly an impeachable act by Garland the AG.

Devin Nunes – David Weiss is Another John Durham Protective Silo – The Deep State Operation Tracks Back to Obama Weaponizing Intel and DOJ
August 11, 2023 | Sundance | 291 Comments

This interview segment is almost as if Devin Nunes reads here. The former House Intel Committee chairman outlines the appointment of David Weiss as another DC silo creation similar in construct to John Durham.

Elevator Speech:
(1) The Patriot Act turned the intel surveillance radar from foreign searches for terrorists to domestic searches for terrorists.
(2) Obama/Biden then redefined what is a “terrorist” to include their political opposition.

The changed definitions continue through today. The DHS partnership with Big Tech is an extension of the issue. Thus, political opposition spreads “disinformation,” ergo the voice and content of the political opposition must be removed. The targeting is one long continuum.

New memos undercut Biden-Ukraine narrative Democrats sold during 2019 impeachment scandal

Newly disclosed State Department memos conflict with the narrative Democrats crafted since 2019 impeachment.
https://justthenews.com/accountability/russia-and-ukraine-scandals/hdfeds-urged-biden-give-ukraine-loan-guarantee-he

[ .. long and detailed .. but shush, if we just ignore it I'm sure it will go away ..]

Quote
The recommendation is one of several U.S. government memos gathered by Just the News over the last 36 months from Freedom of Information Act litigation, congressional inquiries and government agency sources that directly conflict with the long-held narrative that Biden was conducting official U.S. policy when he threatened to withhold a $1 billion U.S. loan guarantee to force Ukraine to fire Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, the country’s equivalent of the American attorney general.

At the time the threat was made in December 2015, Shokin’s office was conducting an increasingly aggressive corruption investigation into Burisma Holdings, an energy firm the State Department deemed to have been engaged in bribery and that employed Hunter Biden and paid him millions while his father was vice president.

New details on the impact of that probe have emerged in recent days.

Shokin's pursuit was rattling Burisma, and the firm was putting pressure on Hunter Biden to deal with it, according to recent testimony and interviews with Devon Archer, Hunter Biden's former business partner and fellow Burisma board member.

The memos obtained by Just the News show:

Senior State Department officials sent a conflicting message to Shokin before he was fired, inviting his staff to Washington for a January 2016 strategy session and sent him a personal note saying they were “impressed” with his office's work.
U.S. officials faced pressure from Burisma emissaries in the United States to make the corruption allegations go away and feared the energy firm had made two bribery payments in Ukraine as part of an effort to get cases settled.
A top U.S. official in Kyiv blamed Hunter Biden for undercutting U.S. anticorruption policy in Ukraine through his dealings with Burisma.

During Trump's first impeachment in late 2019, State officials testified that Hunter Biden's acceptance of a job at Burisma at a time when his father was vice president created the appearance of a conflict of interest but did not materially impact U.S. policy in Ukraine.

But in a private, classified email shared with Just the News, one of the top U.S. officials in the Kyiv embassy told then-Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch at the end of the Obama administration that Hunter Biden had, in fact, impacted the U.S. anti-corruption agenda in Ukraine.

"The real issue to my mind was that someone in Washington needed to engage VP Biden quietly and say that his son Hunter's presence on the Burisma board undercut the anti-corruption message the VP and we were advancing in Ukraine b/c Ukrainians heard one message from us and then saw another set of behavior with the family association with a known corrupt figure whose company was known for not playing by the rules," embassy official George Kent wrote to Yovanovitch in the Nov. 22, 2016, email marked "confidential."

Government memos obtained by Just the News also directly conflict with the narrative, showing the State Department was actually sending a different message to Shokin, the Ukrainian government and to Joe Biden before a sudden pivot in late November 2015.

For instance, Nuland sent a letter to Shokin in June 2015 on behalf of then-Secretary of State John Kerry congratulating Shokin and suggesting they were “impressed” about the job he was doing on corruption reforms. The letter was so important it was hand-delivered by Pyatt, according to the memos Just the News gathered.

Secretary Kerry asked me to reply on his behalf to your letter of May 13, 2015, discussing Ukraine 's efforts to address corruption, including through implementation of the new anti-corruption strategy and reform of the Prosecutor General's Office,” Nuland wrote in the June 11, 2015, memo obtained through a FOIA lawsuit.

“We have been impressed with the ambitious reform and anti-corruption agenda of your government,” Nuland continued. “The challenges you face are difficult, but not insurmountable. You have an historic opportunity to address the injustices of the past by vigorously investigating and prosecuting corruption cases and recovering assets stolen from the Ukrainian people. The ongoing reform of your office, law enforcement, and the judiciary will enable you to investigate and prosecute corruption and other crimes in an effective, fair, and transparent manner.”

Those upbeat sentiments remained strong heading into fall 2015 inside the IPC task force charged with monitoring Shokin and determining whether Joe Biden should deliver new U.S. aid to Ukraine at the end of the year.

In its September 2015 meeting, the IPC affirmed that Shokin’s reform effort – including the creation of a new independent inspector general watchdog to police prosecutors’ behavior – was advancing enough to warrant the new loan guarantee

“All, thank you for a productive meeting yesterday. Please find a SOC below. It was agreed: The IPC concluded that (1) Ukraine has made sufficient progress on its reform agenda to justify a third guarantee and (2) Ukraine has an economic need for the guarantee and it is in our strategic interest to provide One,” Christina Segal-Knowles, the Obama White House director of International Economic Affairs, wrote to top officials from the NSC, DOJ, Treasury and State who advised the task force.

“As such, the IPC recommends moving forward with a third loan guarantee for Ukraine in the near‐term, noting State/F’s preference to issue the guarantee as late as possible to allow more clarity on the budget context and Embassy Kyiv and Treasury’s assessment that Ukraine needs the guarantee by end‐2015,” she also said.

The task force identified some deliverables to be ironed out in the weeks before the loan guarantee, including strengthening procurement and other policies inside Shokin’s office.

“State (including via consultation with State/INL) and DOJ will explore options to further strengthen the PGO CP and submit a revised proposal (State and DOJ by October 6),” Segal-Knowles wrote.

In addition to urging the billion dollar loan guarantee be approved, the task force memo made no suggestion to fire Shokin or list any failures to pursue corruption.

By early November 2015, the task force had crafted a draft agreement for the loan guarantee. In a document titled “Third U.S. Loan Guarantee: Proposed Conditions Precedent," officials laid out what Shokin’s office had agreed to do and made made no demand or even suggestion that the prosecutor be fired.

White House lawyers have reportedly written a letter directing CNN, the New York Times and other US media outlets to scrutinize Republican lawmakers more aggressively as they try to impeach US President Joe Biden.

CNN and other recipients of the letter acknowledged getting the missive on Wednesday. “It’s time for the media to ramp up its scrutiny of House Republicans for opening an impeachment inquiry based on lies,” Ian Sams, a spokesman for the White House Counsel’s Office, wrote in the letter. He added that the impeachment efforts should “set off alarm bells for news organizations.”

US House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-California) launched the impeachment effort on Tuesday, directing committees of the Republican-controlled House of Representatives to open a formal inquiry. He said allegations of influence-peddling and solicitation of bribes by the Biden family “paint a picture of a culture of corruption.”

CNN and Associated Press, for instance, suggested that Republicans were trying to prosecute Biden without having evidence to justify their investigation.

Those outlets apparently ignored such evidence as the sworn testimony of IRS whistleblowers and the records of bank transfers that lawmakers have already revealed. By launching impeachment proceedings, congressional committees will gain more power to subpoena documents that could help prove or debunk the allegations.

Veteran US journalist Matthew Keys, who has worked for such outlets as Reuters and Fox News, said the White House directive on impeachment coverage was “not OK.” He added, “The White House should not be encouraging, influencing or interfering in the editorial strategies of America’s newsrooms, including CNN and the New York Times.”

They can't even pretend to be a democracy or a nation based on Laws anymore

HUNTER faces a maximum penalty of 25 years in prison.

Hunter Biden’s exploits first became public after the contents of a laptop he reportedly abandoned at a repair shop were leaked to the media DURING THE 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS but were suppressed in the news media after public and private interventions by Pro-Democrat Anti-Trump forces along with INTEL AGENCY OPERATIVES like Brennan and Comey.

Among the trove of files found on the laptop were multiple videos of Hunter in various states of undress, holding a firearm and smoking what appears to be crack cocaine.

US President Joe Biden has frequently taken credit for writing the 1994 Crime Bill which ushered in some of the most draconian federal drug laws in the United States history and encouraged states to do the same.

“Every time [former President] Richard Nixon [...] would say, ‘Law and order,’ the Democratic match or response was, ‘Law and order with justice’ — whatever that meant,” the elder Biden said on the Senate floor in 1994. “And I would say, ‘Lock the S.O.B.s up.’
