Given that some researchers believe that the GRACE estimates of SLR contribution from Pine Island/Thwaites/Smith Glaciers may need to be revised upward by about 40%; it is great to learn that the iSTAR program will be focused on providing ground trues to help to better calibrate the GRACE estimates.
