Another calving, from one of the large glaciers in East Greenland:

Daugaard-Jensen Gletscher  71Ø-65 (71°50.0'N 28°47.0'W; Maps 3, 4) Large glacier between Hinks Land and Charcot Land, and one of the most productive in East Greenland. The name first appears on the 1932 1:1 million scale Geodætisk Institut map prepared on the basis of aerial observations by Lauge Koch during the 1931-34 Treårsekspeditionen. It was named after Jens Daugaard-Jensen [1871-1938], a Danish administrator who was Inspector of NW Greenland from 1900, and director of Grønlands Styrelse 1912-38. He was president of the 1931-34 expedition committee, and Koch notes that he constantly followed the work of the expedition with interest. (Daugård-Jensen Gletscher.) GEUS/Denmark

Sometimes, Espen, I do not see what you see when you post images of various glaciers.  But this last pair of images is so cool!  It is interesting seeing the calving happen with fast ice (or something close to it) all around.
Arctic ice is healthy for children and other living things.

The snow melt is also striking there.

Deep inside Scoresbysund Fjord the largest fjord system in the world, we find the large Daugaard-Jensen Gletscher, with a 6 km wide calving front.
This glacier seems to ignore the fact it is in the middle of the arctic winter, as a result the glacier is still calving:

Amazing how mobile the bergs are in front of the calving face. Only the berg furthest east seems to be locked in fast ice.
