This was the year I started following Neven's blog, discovered by following the brave Expedition of Børge Ousland and his crew on the trimaran "Northern Passage". They started out (or continued the trip) from Murmansk 25'th of July 2010, tomorrow. Will be interesting to see if the Sea of Kara will Clear out in due time till the same time they were there 4 years ago:-).
I would strongly recommend a reunion with their detailed blog, which also covers the Arctic situation at that time; more or less the same as today, post 2007.
