Proper dress and acclimatization do miraculous things, at least for cold climate. People on Vostok Station are living in winter with up to -90°C. It's much worse for other species who cannot change dress.

Yes, extremely unlikely. Actually meteorites are cold when land. A big one can burn it down but consequences are really different from match.

Asteroid hazard is known risk. It's not a big task to calculate probability for certain building or check if impact event happened. But how to estimate plausibility of lab-origin scenario? Should we also consider alien's experiment as possible scenario?

LWR is main negative feedback which stabilizes temperature on the Earth and prevents violation of the second law of thermodynamics. Warmer -> more LWR -> cooling. Cooler -> less LWR -> warming. Increased LWR can be a result of positive feedback but it provides negative feedback itself.
