Same sad story a little bit north of the Sverdrup Gletscher system, where retreat is seen across the board:

Yes it is more interesting and educating to study these glacier and their behavior over the last 30 years, than watching for instance Jakobshavn here and now.
The animation really shows how dramatic the changes are all along the North Western coast of Greenland.

A "little" west of Sverdrup Gletscher we find Nansen Gletscher and Nordenskiƶld Gletscher, both glaciers seems to be in spring mode:

Nuussuup Sermia is seen calving between April 3 and May 5 2016 (for location see map,top of the thread):

Nansen Gletscher - Another glacier in Melville Bay / Baffin Bay area that is worth reporting from.
As you you can see from the animation below this glacier is very active too, and it still looks pretty potent if you ask me?

Nansen Gletscher to Morell Gletscher Melville Bay in Baffin Bay North West Greenland.
Continuing retreat at most of the many glaciers in the northern part of Melville Bay, especially Nansen Gletscher is retreating and changing shape over the last 2 years (2015-2017).
