Amazing Creation in front of our eyes:

Energy converts into subatomical particles which 'unites' creating light atoms.
Light atoms unites creating first stars which creates heavier atoms.
Atoms unites creating molecules.
Molecules unites creating life.
Life unites creating ?

'Fusion' everywhere, except in human society where - as it seems to me - destruction/divide&conquer/'fission' prevails.

Meanwhile: Universe expands, accelerating.

What do you do to maintain mental hygiene? I found useful changing focus to something far away, not directly related: work in byd, watch what other life forms do, or think about stuff like this:
Recent ArXiv article: "Whither All the Scope and Generality of Bell's Theorem?"
Recent Usenet activity. Subject history goes for a 6+ years already, I think, ArXiv example.

I don't see anyone really/successfully debunking his reasoning but I don't know enough about the subject to have my mind clear on that. I'm only a , , present in this particular range of space and time.

December 1982 I went diving in twenty foot swell at twenty two second period . Even at 80 ft. deep it was seriously gnarly. We did make enough money for a ski trip the next day. We also have a saying
" storm follows the swell ". It snowed 5 feet overnight and took two days to dig out the ski lifts.

Great news about Turing, but I suppose it is too much to expect all the other victims of that law to get the same pardon!

I recently read a biography of Turing (by Andrew Hodges). Apparently, despite his mathematical ability, when he was at Bletchley Park his chess-playing ability was a bit of a joke. The UK chess champion, Harry Golombek also worked there, and was able to give Turing Queen odds and still win. Once when Alan resigned, Golombek was able to turn the board around and win from a position that Turing had given up as hopeless!

I do not share all of that vidéo, as a comment say we are animals not different...
A bit too much emotions but like the widget with nuclear bombs we need emotions to touch the heart of the people.
We are part of the problem and we must explain to others that the main solution is to go down to 300 ppm of CO2 (of course other green house gaz must follow) quickly and understand that we are part of the problem, even for those willing to change (like me).

Arcticio,

I never read "Peter pan" but did see one of the movies !
The persons that do experience lucid dreaming can fly in their dreams...ouaou that must be an incredible experience !  Infortunately  I never remember my dreams...but I am sleeping very well... (despite AGW).

I can advise if you like fantasy to read "The name of the wind" From Patrick Rothfuss

It is, but flying is not the point, it is consciously steering. I believe everybody is able to train/learn it, there are some tricks, you'll find them by googling, all you need is time, no stress, some will and no fear in whatever your dreams might bring up. (Probably a rare mixture during adult life...)
