Neven put up a post a few weeks ago about Petermann Glacier being about to calve.  I think it is visible on worldview now!   Compare a week ago to today:

Can you indicate the bit you're referring to?  If you mean the dark streak a little bit behind the calving front, parallel to it - the fact that the streak continues uninterrupted straight up the rocky wall of the glacial valley (and then a further ~3 miles inland) should clue you in to the fact that it's just a cloud shadow :-)

I may well be being tricked by a cloud.  But I don't think the coastline data line is the calving line: the image on the blog post indicates a crack well upstream from there.  https://icyseas.org/2017/06/16/is-petermann-gletscher-breaking-apart-this-summer/
