So I was looking at how much water it would require for an adequate radiation shield for space travel and found the following chart.

Hint: look at the material in the middle of the list.

Now that France is totally disturbed by a heat wave, the Newspaper Le Monde is publishing an article saying that climate change is full of opportunities.

« Non seulement la planète ne se porte pas moins bien qu’hier, mais nous avons désormais les moyens de réparer ce qui va mal »

It's probably one of the best way to make this look ridiculous.

It must have been an awesome test. How many Mars bars it took to complete measurements?

I debated where to post this link. I think here is best... Another dopey idea to entertain us, and distract from the real work of reducing CO2.

Seems this idea won some kind of prize...(!) Refreeze the arctic using large 'submarine-like' floating ice-cube machines. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Same principle as cooling your house by leaving the refrigerator door open.

Animals can be driven crazy by placing too many in too small a pen. Homo sapiens is the only animal that voluntarily does this to himself.

Toles, March 2020, illustrating the current global pandemic of climate change inaction:
“It is not the strongest or the most intelligent who will survive but those who can best manage change.”

Meanwhile deleted attachment was awaiting approval by moderator. Sorry, I thought that glitch was resolved. Next time I do the Facebook and give a link as in edit.

Glitches|data corruptions
(it not contain useful data - just for fun:)

1. data corruption on global temperature data (i saved this in 2014, for several days from 7-day dataset lost temperature data was interpreted as high scale and global map was corrupted in such way that can be used for future climate scarying)

2. Just now, probably glitch from Earth System Research Laboratories (ESRL) site, hourly atmospheric methane data for 2020-2021 years
