I don't know if these can be tied to the changes in the Arctic weather systems, but all the same, wildfires (ok) in Norway (ok, that's a bit rare) in winter (never heard before!)?

Here is another link with short video:
http://www.euronews.com/2014/01/28/wildfire-continues-to-rage-across-northern-norway/
So.....here we are in JANUARY and we have wildfires in Norway and on the Oregon coast. Not eastern Oregon which is dry....but the COAST of Oregon which is usually cloudy and rainy from November 1st through March 31st.

And this is JANUARY. I have NEVER heard of wildfires on the Oregon coast in the dead of winter. Eastern Oregon on the eastern side of the Cascade Mountains is MUCH dryer....so that would not be a big deal. But the Oregon coast? THAT.....is crazy.
