Actually a nice tool, which also provides surface area measurement of the various icebergs.

..in square nautical miles  ???
Is there any way to automatically convert to metric?

There doesn't appear to be one on the site so we'll just have to multiply by 3.43 to get km^2.

Although area is quoted as NM sq., I have measured with their tool bottom right. Measurements are square miles and sq Km. Multiplication factor is approx 2.6 . Neat site thanks for the link.

NM defined as 1,852 metres, NM2 = 3.43km2 - not a nice, useful SI unit! Historical, so still used by some    .    .    , perhaps we have km, mi, NM and NM2 all trying to measure things on these maps?
Also I don't think the recorded size of icebergs is likely to be changed unless there is a major break-up? (Suspect there will be no noted change if the icebergs just naturally fray at the edges.)
